Hello from K9 Bytes! Summer is almost here and so is the next update for K9 Koordinator.

The update we are releasing will be the last major update before the summer season. Updates will be released over the summer but they will be small in comparison. This is to make sure that your program runs smoothly and familiarly during the busy season.

K9 Bytes software provides and supports the K9Bytes Credit Card Software Module. This is the interface used to process credit cards directly within the K9 Bytes Software. The K9Bytes Credit Card Module is required to integrate credit card processing (one step, storing cards on file). The price of the module is $499.00. We will provide you with complimentary use of the module when you process through our preferred merchant services provider, Heritage payment Systems. If at any point you choose to go with another provider, you would be required to pay the full price of the module.

Regardless of which merchant services provider you choose, they will be required to provide you with PC Charge software and license, which interfaces with the Credit Card Module. Heritage Payment solutions is our preferred merchant services provider and they provide PC Charge software when complimentary use of the Credit Card module is provided by K9 Bytes. K9 Bytes is always your first line of defense and we will do everything we can to help you. If the issue is with K9 not processing, we can fix that. If the issue is not with K9 Koordinator then you will need to contact your merchant services provider next. If you process with Heritage then the contact is Doug Dominique and he can be reached at: 1-800-789-8897. If you cannot get a hold of your processor or they cannot handle the problem themselves, you will be required to contact PC Charge directly at 1-877-659-8981. PC Charge gives their clients 12 months of complimentary technical support. However, after 12 months is over, the next time you need to call PC Charge, they will charge an annual tech support fee. Please refer to your merchant services provider for more information about PC Charge. As always, K9 Bytes is always your first line of defense and we will do everything we can to help you initially.

Just as a reminder, the best way to get into contact with us is still our CRM system that can be accessed through K9 Koordinator or the K9 Bytes website. When creating a ticket please be sure to list your issue as accurately and completely as possible. If you are having more than one issue, please make sure to list them all. Please make sure to also accurately classify the issue you are currently experiencing. A fully detailed and accurately classified support ticket makes it easier for us to help you!

What's New in the K9 Koordinator?

We would like to include some of the improvements that have been included in the K9 Koordinator since our last newsletter. The current release of K9 Koordinator Cheetah is version 6.0.465. If you are running behind, you want to be running the latest version! Use the K9 Bytes Updater to automatically check for and download the latest K9 Koordinator. The current patch we focused on current problems and support tickets. We plan to release updated portions of the program starting at the end of May and progressing through the summer. These updates are decidedly more involved than a typical update so we will have to have a technician call your facility and perform them. We will only be calling on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, as we do not want to tie up your busy days. We will keep you posted for more information as it becomes available.
